Jim has worked in the renewable energy industry for over 40 years, most notably as the Managing Director of SSE Renewables. He joined our team following the announcement of his appointment in September.

He was welcomed by Renewable Parts CEO James Barry and our dedicated team of 45 employees across our office, Operations Centre and Innovation Centres in Renfrew and Lochgilphead.

Jim said, “The first time I was introduced by James to Renewable Parts several years ago, I truly believed that their business model of refurbishing and reusing parts previously scrapped was a highly sustainable business model with huge growth potential, so it’s really great to be here now as Chairman. As well as huge growth opportunities ahead for the wind industry in the UK, it’s particularly exciting that Renewable Parts has now branched into the US. My role is to challenge and support James and the team to accelerate growth, while ensuring we continue to deliver what’s key to us as a business; meeting the needs of our customers.”
