Everything's bigger in Texas – Renewable Parts expands US operations.

Remanufacturing specialist for the renewables industry expands into new dedicated Houston facility

Renewable Parts USA is at the forefront of remanufacturing in the wind and solar industries in the USA and this fall sees another milestone in the company's successful growth to date.

For the last 2 years since launch, Renewable Parts has been based at a modestly sized facility in Humble, Texas.  Due to continued growth, the business is moving to a new facility in Houston with a footprint that is 4 times what they had previously and will continue to support its customers in keeping renewable energy projects running.
The business has been remanufacturing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical parts at scale for the US renewables industries, with a particular focus on yaw drives, motors, calipers and electrical and electronic components for wind turbines, with upwards of 100 units per month passing through the shop. The processes themselves are efficient and the shop is lean. However, it became obvious due to the scale of parts that were being remanufactured that the business needed more space. Luckily, the solution was a mere 15 miles away.

From October 2026, Renewable Parts USA will be operating from its new shop just west of George Bush Intercontinental Airport. This follows Renewable Parts celebrating its 15th anniversary in operation in the UK. Group CEO James Barry said of the expansion:

“The new facility represents a huge step up in capability and is a signal of our growing confidence in developing remanufacture services at scale.  This investment will provide the opportunity to rapidly increase volumes over the next two years but also provide a wider range of solutions for our customers.  The market for remanufactured parts is growing rapidly, and we are delighted to respond positively with this key development.”
