Spotting a gap in the UK renewable marketplace founder Ewan Anderson established Renewable Parts in 2011 in Lochgilphead, Argyll. Renewable Parts has expanded rapidly, with 2015 welcoming the relocation of our warehouse
facilities to Westways Business Park, Renfrew, a key step in both improving our
stock holding and centralising our logistic capabilities.
Operations expanded further in 2017 with the introduction of a secondary warehouse in Renfrew, followed shortly by the launch of our parts Refurbishment Centre which in 2018 opened in the Old Ambulance Station, Lochgilphead. Keeping close to our roots, the specialised facility is allowing us to extend our refurbished parts offering and in turn reduce costs of ownership for our customers.
James Joined Renewable Parts in 2015, following a 20 year career in Aerospace. Passionate about providing great customer service, James believes innovation lies at the heart of delivering outstanding service and value for money for our customers. Our core values of innovation, responsiveness & dependability shape all we do as a business. James enjoys spending his spare time with his family & dogs, walking and going to gigs.
Ewan founded Renewable Parts in 2011 after spotting a gap in the UK Renewables Marketplace. With a mechanical background (inc. 7 years in the wind industry) his technical knowledge and ingenuity are unparalleled, his contributions such as RPL's Refurbishment initiative are beginning to spark real change within the industry. Ewan lives in Argyll with his family & dog and enjoys walking and cycling.
Joining Renewable Parts in Aug 2017, having trained in an accountancy practice and spent 15 years as Finance Director with a fast-growing entrepreneurial company, Cath brings considerable financial and strategic experience to the team. Responsible for the day to day financial management of Renewable Parts, Cath is focused on driving all departments to deliver the sales and results necessary to grow a successful, financially viable business. Cath lives in Glasgow with her partner and their 2 young children.
An enthusiastic member of the team since 2016, Fred has built and launched supply chain capability around several turbine types and is now in charge of the operational side of the business. His previous experience in project management gained in Kyiv, Ukraine has been an invaluable asset for the challenges faced in procurement and the supply chain. A keen cyclist and diver, he lives in Perthshire with his partner and dog.
Joining RPL in October 2017 after 12 years as a managing director in the sailing industry, Michael now runs the Refurbishment Centre. Educated to degree level in Manufacturing engineering and Management he has spent his working life in roles that combine management with technical skills. Michael loves to spend quality time with his wife and two young sons and plays basketball at a local club, also coaching the primary team.
Joining Renewable Parts in October 2018, James is responsible for selecting and evaluating our supplier base, developing and implementing procurement strategies. James has brought with him 10 years’ experience in the Royal Navy Submarine service, procurement and supply chain management, and a further 6 Years’ experience in manufacturing gas generators. On the weekends he enjoys rugby, socialising and spending time with his partner and two children.
Joining the Renewable Parts team in Feb 2016 following her BSc Hons in Marketing Management, Hannah has a split role sharing her time between our accounts department and overseeing our marketing activities. Building upon her marketing, comms & PR experience she is responsible, among other duties, for our website, literature, blog, social media, advertising, events and all things creative at RPL. An avid salsa dancer, Hannah enjoys walking, photography & gaming.
Joining RPL in August 2018, Geri has numerous years’ experience in sales support, within many different industries including construction, power generation and Beverages. Geri’s main role will be to assist our Sales team as well as liaising with warehouse to ensure continuity of service. A bit of a Gin Connoisseur, Geri lives in Renfrew and enjoys nothing better than socialising with friends.
After joining Renewable Parts in 2015, with over 30 years warehouse experience Fraser now oversees all of Renewable Parts' warehouse activity. Having worked at all levels, across a a variety of industries from food to car parts and electronics. His 20+ years experience in management have made him passionate about warehouse accuracy and process implementation.
Fraser lives for the weekend and a spiced rum or two.
Joining Renewable Parts in Feb '18, Graham is part of our fulfillment team. His background in distribution and warehouse management and extensive experience working in varied Logistics roles has proved invaluable and allowed him to fit in quickly. Graham enjoys the meeting customers whilst out delivering. and at home loves spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, playing video games and Netflix binges.
Joining Renewable Parts in October 2017, Alan instantly fit in with the team, having previously worked with Fraser. Overall, Alan has more than 25 years warehouse experience in different environments, including, most recently, 5 years with Siemens. His daily duties include receiving goods and locating into the company racking system as well as packing and issuing goods safely to customers and carrying out daily stock takes.
Originally from Hungary, Balazs joined RPL in October 2018, moving to Scotland after finishing his bachelor’s degree in 2017. Balazs brings experience in data analysis for SMEs and big multinational companies mainly in service delivery, sales and marketing processes. At RPL he is responsible for data integrity in our databases, analysis, and all reporting processes. Balazs is a huge fan of the NFL and NBA and and when he’s not staring at graphs and charts, he spends his time reading, playing football and at the gym.
Emily joined Renewable Parts in May 2018 and oversees all our ‘people’ related activity including the acquisition of new talent to support our ambitious growth plans. With a background in HR consultancy and strategic talent acquisition, on a day to day basis she acts as our talent scout by building relationships with a broad range of networks to ensure that we not only secure the best talent in the market but also retain the best people to help take our business forward. Out of work, Emily is a Pilates fanatic and an avid European City Breaker!
